Q1. What is PGME Induction Process and Timelines?
A. AIMS Induction process is a bi-annual activity which spans over 2 to 3 months. For example; for any program, the process will start 2 months prior to opening of RTMC website. We will start the induction program with an advertisement on selected platforms. The interviews and possible written tests will follow, then then results and joining just at the end of induction process, following with Boot Camp/Orientation.
PLEASE NOTE: The actual dates and timelines are subject to change and will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
Q2. How I submit the application form?
A. Application form is available on our website under PGME header. The form is downloadable and needs to be filled in and sent to us “only by postal service“(any Reliable Courier Service) along with necessary documents and registration fee original slip, clearly addressing “Program Director PGME – Billing & Admission Counter” followed with our postal address on the envelop.

Q3. What are the requirements?
A. All your previous relevant/important documents are required to be attached with application form. Documents details are mentioned on the form itself.

Your 2 passport size photos with white of blue back ground only
A copy of valid CNIC.
Q4. How much is Application Fee and what is Payment procedure?
A. Application fee per applicant is Rs. 3500/- (non-refundable).
Payment options are:
1. Bank Transfer (bank to bank)
2. Bank Transfer via Easy Paisa, Jazz Cash. (Transfer to our bank account)

Q5. How many Postgraduate Medical Education program does AIMS offer?
A. Currently, AIMS offers 02 programs as follows:
1. Internship Program
2. Residency (FCPS Training) In Medicine and Surgery
3. MRCEM Program
Q6. How many programs can I apply for?
A. Each candidate can apply for only one program hence only one application form can be submitted.
Q7. What are the salary packages for postgraduate trainees?
A. Information on salary can be obtained from CPSP website. Salary packages are as per CPSP guidelines.
Q8. What is the objective of the Admission Test?
A. The Admission Test provides a uniform measure and tool of assessment to gauge the knowledge base of candidates applying to the relevant program. There is an English language component to check language competency, along with Medicine and General Knowledge components as well.
Q9. What types of questions are included in the test?
A. The scenario-based multiple choice questions mostly cover clinical subjects.
Q10. Do you have any prescribed book(s) to prepare for the test?
A. No, there are no prescribed books to prepare for the test.
