At AIMS’s Neurosurgery Department, we uphold the highest standards of neurosurgical excellence across Balochistan. Our skilled team specializes in precision-driven, microscope-assisted brain and spine surgeries. Equipped with advanced imaging and operating suites, we deliver comprehensive care—from complex tumor resections to minimally invasive spinal interventions—ensuring optimal recovery and quality of life for every patient.

Our department is led by Dr Faizuddin Kakar and Dr Adnan Salim, who are among the handful of neurosurgeons in Balochistan formally trained and experienced in microscope-assisted brain and spine surgery. This advanced expertise enables us to perform delicate procedures with precision, including tumour resections, minimally invasive spinal surgeries, and complex cranial operations—services that remain limited in the region.

The Department of Neurosurgery  has the latest state-of-the-art equipment both for non-invasive and invasive services.
