He holds an MBBS, FCPS in Internal Medicine from Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, and completed his Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, Lahore. He also earned the Specialty Certificate in Medical Oncology from the Royal Colleges of Physicians and The Association of Cancer Physicians, UK.
